Question: Are Famous pages mobile-only?
Answer: Famous Pro works best for creating single-page mobile websites. If you want your Famous site to work across mobile, desktop, and tablet, you will need to create a separate design for each.
Question: Why doesn't Famous automatically create a fully responsive site that can work across mobile, desktop, and tablet?
Answer: This is a great question and something we tried to solve. Unfortunately, current web technologies don't allow for a fully customizable layout and responsive design. We didn't want to go the route of some of our competitors and limit you to a predefined layout, which we would need to do to generate one page that works across all devices automatically.
Question: Are there any options if I don't want to create multiple designs?
Answer: You have two options if you don't want to create a separate design for desktop and tablet.
First, you can set redirect URLs in the Project Settings for the missing devices. That way, when someone visits your Famous page from a desktop or tablet, they will be redirected to the URL(s) you specified. Alternatively, Famous offers a Mobile-on-Desktop view that allows sites designed without Desktop or Tablet layouts to show a letterboxed version of the mobile site when visited from a non-mobile device. This is available by removing the unused devices from your project.
