You can add custom text or pre-formatted text layouts to your design.
To Add and Edit Text
- Start by selecting the screen to add text.
- Click on the Text icon in the top toolbar to open the text menu containing Heading, Subheading, Body text elements, and pre-formatted text layouts.
- Drag and drop a text element from the menu onto the screen you want to add it.
- Double click on the text element to select all of the text within the text box. You may need to double-click again to drill down into the text group to select the individual text element you want.
- Begin typing to overwrite the current text.
- Click off of the text element to deselect it and exit text edit mode.
If the text you are trying to edit is part of a group, you may need to double click to drill down into the group to select the individual text element. There are two ways to tell whether or not you have selected the text element you want:
- The cursor is before the first letter in the text box, or the text block is highlighted.
- The text layer is selected in the left layer list.
Modify Text Size, Color and Typography and More
You can customize the size, color and typography of individual text elements.

Select text element that you want to modify
- Double click to select all of the text within the text box, or use your mouse to highlight the portion of the text you want to modify.
- Navigate to the Object tab in the Right Inspector.
- Under the section labeled Text on the Object tab, use the following controls to customize the size, color, typography and more for the selected text:
- Typeface and typeface style
- Color
- Increasing and decreasing size, character spacing and line height
- Text alignment
- Text transformations (uppercase, lowercase, camel case)
- Click off of the text element to deselect it and exit text edit mode.
